From Booklist
This is an interactive, general science encyclopedia that seems best suited for middle-and high-school students, though younger and older users should also find much to fascinate and inform them. This multiplatform CD-ROM works in Macintosh or Windows environments. Macintosh requires 12MB RAM, and Windows requires 8MB RAM. Installation using Windows was problem free. The main screen is a “console” from which the user can click on the following features: periodic table, matter explorer, earth and the universe, virtual molecules, video start, who’s who, quiz master, help, options, navigator, online connect, backtracker, and word search. The first seven of those features are clearly labeled, and the help feature is indicated by a question mark. However, the remaining features are accessed by clicking on unlabeled objects at the periphery of the console that have no obvious visual connection to their function. The Board used the CD-ROM for 30 minutes before discov (click here for further information)
